A Discussion of the Role and Performance of the African Union

With the boost in the global market and free trade agreements, countries are now bonding with each other through trade agreements and trade unions in order to ensure the interests of each associated country. African Union (AU) was established on the 26th of May, 2001, for ensuring the interests of African countries for the economic growth and prosperity of infrastructure. To solidify the African nations as a sole great force, the political and administrative bodies in Africa mutually established the AU (Vines, 2013).
